How is the energy we consume at home generated?

We already know a lot about how we install the systems to distribute electrical current in our home, but little do we know where that energy comes from, of course, we know that we have a supplier and this is responsible for providing us with the necessary electricity for our consumption, but from where? is electricity actually generated? Electricity is created in plants capable of obtaining electrical energy from primary energies. The so-called renewable primary energies are wind, solar radiation, tides … and the non-renewable ones are coal, natural gas, oil. The energy produced in the plant must reach each of the homes. For this, the generated current goes to a substation that raises the tension of the electrical energy (voltage), and sends it through large transmission towers that we find on the side of the routes or roads.
