One of the most important elements in an electrical installation are transformers, this is because this device allows to increase or decrease the voltage or tension in an alternating current electrical circuit to maintain the frequency and power with high performance. Transformers are devices based on the phenomenon of electromagnetic induction and are constituted, in its simplest form, by two coils wound on a closed core of soft iron or silicon iron. The coils or windings are called primary and secondary, as they correspond to the input or output of the system in question, respectively.
